Emma is a Master's student at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy and is President of the MPP Students’ Association. Prior to attending the School of Public Policy, she completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies at the University of Calgary. Her research interests include education, Indigenous, and social policy.
Vivian Su

Vivian is a Master's student at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy and is one of the Vice-President Communications of the MPP Students’ Association. Prior to attending the School of Public Policy, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Society from the University of Calgary. Her research interests include health and social policy.
Jenny Duong

Jenny is a Master's student at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy and is one of the Vice-President Communications of the MPP Students’ Association. Prior to attending the School of Public Policy, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Health and Society from the University of Calgary. Their research interests include housing, health, and social policy.
sarah hertz – founder
Sarah completed her MPP at the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy. Her Capstone project, supervised by Dr Myles Leslie, is a comparative study of Calgary and Detroit that examines the decline of single-industry cities. Following graduation, Sarah relocated to Ottawa (with her husband and two cats) for a job as a Policy Advisor with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. She now works for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, as a Policy and Performance Analyst, focusing on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) best practices. She holds a Master's (MPhil) in Renaissance Literature from the University of Cambridge and a BA Honours in English from the University of Calgary.
